Description
Traditional drawing of a Peacock spider (Maratus Personatus). I was in the right mood to draw an animal and to practice blurred parts, so I chose another plushy jumping spider. Who can resist those cute and innocent eyes? oOOo
And don't be afraid... This spider is very, very small: www.flickr.com/photos/59431731…
Reference picture by Jürgen Otto (www.flickr.com/people/59431731…): www.flickr.com/photos/59431731…
If you want to see this cute little species in action (dancing) take a look at this video on his Youtube channel: youtu.be/1lsRilcqkO8
Paper DIN A4 190g/m² (size of the drawing = 15,2cm x 15cm); Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, Copic Ciao and Sketch marker, uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white; time: ~8 hours

Beautiful work! Did you use pastels, pencils? I'm very curious to know!
