It's a trap - frog in pitcher plant

The carnivorous plant Sarracenia alata (pale pitcher plant) with Hyla femoralis (pine woods tree frog) in Jackson County, Mississippi.
Don't worry about the frog. He's fine. The Sarracenia is no threat for this frog and didn't eat it. It's more likely that the frog stole some insects from this carnivorous plant.
