Description
Traditional drawing of a bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).
I didn't put so much detail into the feathers, because I was using some cheap grainy paper... That's why I'm still looking for the perfect drawing paper (>150g/m² + very smooth, but not so super smooth like bristol paper), so I would be happy about some suggestions, because I'm running out of my favourite drawing paper (so old that I can't buy it anymore, because they changed the quality ).
Reference photo by cycoze : fav.me/d5hdjs9
Paper DIN A4 190g/m² (size of the drawing = 21cm x 14,2cm); Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, Copic Ciao and Sketch marker, Copic Multiliner 0.05 (black, warm gray, sepia), uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white; time: >6 hours
