Draw This Again: Loki of Asgard

My second "Draw This Again Meme". It's always interesting to redraw an old picture and to do this meme.

Well... now I really have to admit that my scanner messed up the colours of the old picture in a good way. On paper it was not blue enough, so this is the only drawing in my gallery that looks better as a scan than on paper. I adjusted the colours of the original scan for this meme in order that it looks exactly like on paper, so that it becomes easier to compare it with the new drawing (cropped images => zoomed in!):

Now I finally notice that I messed up Loki's face, that the scepter doesn't glow, the colours are all wrong and that the atmosphere is "dead" in the old drawing... A combination of marker and colored pencil is pretty helpful to get rid of white spots. The colours of the new drawing look so vivid on paper, because of the marker background layer.
