Description
Traditional drawing of the Victoria sculpture on the Victory Column in Berlin.
I chose this reference a few months ago, because I wanted to practice drawing "gold/metall". I'm not that good with words, so a few days ago I decided to finally start this drawing. It still makes me very sad what happened in Berlin... two days ago I visited a christmas market and still had an uncomfortable feeling.
So I dedicate this drawing to the victims and also all the other people who died this year.
Reference was a photo that I took in Berlin (2013).
Paper DIN A4 190g/m²; Faber-Castell Polychromos artists' colour pencils, Copic Ciao and Sketch marker, Copic Multiliner 0.05, uni-ball Signo pigment ink um-153 white; time: ~10 hours?
Please don't upload my pictures somewhere else without my permission. Don't infringe copyright!
Here are some other traditional drawings:
Download: WIP photo and high resolution (4x) scan.

Jaw droping as always... my brain still don"t understand how is it possible to draw what looks like gold color with a pencil....
